Questions
Will this photo definitely be accepted?
It will be the correct physical size at the correct resolution. Acceptance also depends on background, lighting, expression, head position and how recent the photo is — check your issuing authority's current guidance, which does change.
Why 600 DPI rather than 300?
Photo printers resolve well beyond 300 DPI, and passport photos are small enough that the larger file costs nothing. At 600 DPI a 35×45mm photo is 827×1063 pixels, which stays crisp on any print process.
How do I get the head size right?
Use the zoom and position sliders. Most authorities want the head to occupy 70–80% of the image height, measured from chin to the top of the hair.
Can I print several on one sheet?
Download the single photo, then use Images to PDF with a 6×4 inch page to lay several out, or take the file to a print shop and ask for a passport sheet.
