About Add Watermark to Image
Text is drawn directly into the pixels, which means it cannot be toggled off in an editor the way a layer can — but it also means a determined person can clone it out. Tiled mode is much harder to remove than a single corner mark, at the cost of being harder to look past.
How to use it

What opacity works best?
Around 35–50% for a corner mark that should stay legible, and 15–25% for a tiled overlay, where the repetition carries the message and heavy opacity just makes the image unusable for everyone including you.
What does the position option change?
It offers 6 choices — Bottom right, Bottom left, Top right and Top left and more. The default is Bottom right, which suits most cases; change it when your input or your destination calls for something specific.
Which file types can I use?
JPG, PNG, WEBP, GIF, BMP, AVIF and SVG — anything your browser can display. Because decoding is handled by your browser rather than a conversion server, support tracks whatever your browser can already open.
Is there a file size limit?
No imposed limit — there is no server quota to hit. The real ceiling is your device's memory, since the whole file is held in RAM while it is processed. Desktop browsers cope with very large files; phones give up sooner.
What are the limits on text size?
It accepts 1 to 20%, starting at 5%. The other numeric controls have their own ranges: opacity 5–100%.
