Questions

Why is the text automatically uppercase?

Because the classic Impact meme format is uppercase, and it is more legible at a glance on small screens. Long captions wrap automatically to fit the image width.

The Impact font is not showing — why?

It is not installed on your device. The tool falls back to Arial Black or the nearest heavy sans-serif, which looks close. Impact ships with Windows and most Office installs.

Which file types can I use?

JPG, PNG, WEBP, GIF, BMP, AVIF and SVG — anything your browser can display. Because decoding is handled by your browser rather than a conversion server, support tracks whatever your browser can already open.

Is there a file size limit?

No imposed limit — there is no server quota to hit. The real ceiling is your device's memory, since the whole file is held in RAM while it is processed. Desktop browsers cope with very large files; phones give up sooner.

What are the limits on text size?

It accepts 3 to 20%, starting at 9%.
