Terms of use
Short, because there is very little to govern.

What you are agreeing to
DuckyTools is free to use, for anything, including commercial work. There is no account to create, no payment to make, no usage limit and no attribution requirement.
What we collect
Nothing. There is no analytics, no cookies, no logging of your activity and no upload endpoint. Your files are processed by JavaScript on your own device and never transmitted. The privacy page covers this in detail and the proof page demonstrates it.
Two things are stored in your own browser and nowhere else: your theme choice and your recently used and pinned tools. Clearing site data removes them. Neither is ever sent anywhere.
No warranty
The tools are provided as they are, with no guarantee that they are correct, available, or fit for any particular purpose. That is standard boilerplate and it is also a genuine caution: check important output. A calculator can have a bug, OCR misreads characters, and a compressor can lose a text layer. Do not rely on any tool here for a legal, medical or financial decision without verifying the result.
Your files are your responsibility
Because nothing is uploaded, nothing is backed up either. If your browser crashes mid-job, the result is gone and we cannot recover it — we never had it. Keep your originals.
Acceptable use
There is no rate limit to abuse and no infrastructure of ours to overload, so the only meaningful restriction is legal: do not use these tools to do something unlawful. Removing metadata from a photograph is a privacy measure; removing it to conceal evidence is not our concern to police, but it is still your problem.
The source
The site and the tools are open source under the MIT license, and the SDK is published separately under the same terms. You may read it, fork it, self-host it and build on it.
Changes
If these terms change, the change appears in the changelog like everything else. There is no mailing list to notify, because there is no mailing list.
