About Image Cropper
Drag anywhere on the image to draw a crop box, then drag the box to move it or its corners to resize. Locking an aspect ratio constrains the box as you drag, which is what you want for profile pictures and thumbnails that must be exactly square.
How to use it
- Everything image cropper needs is on this page.
- Your input is processed locally and discarded when you close the tab.

Questions
How do I crop to an exact pixel region?
Switch the mode to "Exact region" and set X, Y, width and height. X and Y measure from the top-left corner of the image in pixels.
What does the anchor do?
When cropping to an aspect ratio, it decides which part survives. Center suits most photos; Top is better for portraits, where centring often cuts off the top of someone's head.
Does cropping lose quality?
No pixels are resampled — the kept region is copied at full resolution. If the output is a JPEG it is re-encoded once, which is why the quality control matters.
