About Social Media Image Resizer
Each preset is the dimension that platform actually renders at, not the minimum it accepts. Uploading at the exact size avoids a second round of platform-side compression, which is where most of the visible quality loss on social images comes from.

Fill and crop for photos, where edge content is expendable and empty bars look amateur. Fit and pad for logos, screenshots and anything with text near the edges that must not be cut.
What does the preset option change?
It offers 10 choices — Instagram square — 1080×1080, Instagram portrait — 1080×1350, Story / Reel / TikTok — 1080×1920 and YouTube thumbnail — 1280×720 and more. The default is Instagram square — 1080×1080, which suits most cases; change it when your input or your destination calls for something specific.
Which file types can I use?
JPG, PNG, WEBP, GIF, BMP, AVIF and SVG — anything your browser can display. Because decoding is handled by your browser rather than a conversion server, support tracks whatever your browser can already open.
Is there a file size limit?
No imposed limit — there is no server quota to hit. The real ceiling is your device's memory, since the whole file is held in RAM while it is processed. Desktop browsers cope with very large files; phones give up sooner.
