Questions
Which resolution should I pick?
Screen (72 DPI) is fine for previews and web use. High (144 DPI) suits most on-screen work. Choose Print (216 DPI) or higher only if the image is going onto paper — file sizes grow roughly with the square of the setting.
JPG or PNG?
JPG for pages that are mostly photos or scans; the files are far smaller. PNG for pages with text, line art or diagrams, where JPEG artifacts show up around sharp edges.
Why is there a 100-page limit?
Each page is rendered to a full-resolution canvas in memory. Beyond about a hundred, browsers start refusing to allocate. Convert in ranges — 1-100, then 101-200 — if you need a long document.
