About Passphrase Generator
A passphrase of four or five random words is far easier to remember than a string of symbols and, drawn from a large enough word list, just as hard to guess. The key word is random — a phrase you chose yourself is not.
How to use it
- Enter words, how many and separator.
- Adjust the remaining 2 settings if the defaults do not fit your case.

What does the separator option change?
It offers 4 choices — Hyphen, Dot, Underscore and Space. The default is Hyphen, which suits most cases; change it when your input or your destination calls for something specific.
What are the limits on words?
It accepts 3 to 10, starting at 5. The other numeric controls have their own ranges: how many 1–50.
